Reflections on a Fairer LifeI wish I had longer fingers Then I could be gracefulReflections on a Fairer Life
My fingers would race down your ribs like expert race-runners I would paint my nails graceful colors Corals, reds, plums, and
Wines that I'd sip from glass chalices that were specially designed with long thin necks
I would wear lace gloves of ivories and ebonies To match my shoes and my purse of course That I'd wear to afternoon tea Where I'd sip my green chai with my pinky sticking out gracefully.
Oh what a lady I'd be.
